PetSavers – PetSavers receives a welcome boost from the Debs Foundation

20 November 2018

A generous £5,000 donation has been gifted to PetSavers by the Debs Foundation to support the 2018 Clinical Research Projects, awarded last month.

The Debs Foundation charitable trust was set-up a year ago, in memory of veterinarian Debbie Gittleson.  The Foundation’s aim is to support charities that reflect the causes Debbie believed in and advocated for, in particular those with an emphasis on animal welfare.

David Gittleson, Debbie’s brother and one of the founders of the trust, contacted PetSavers in September to discuss the possibility of awarding a donation.  After reviewing the Clinical Research Projects awarded by PetSavers in early October, David contacted PetSavers to share the good news that the Debs Foundation had approved a donation of £5,000.  The trust thought that there were so many worthwhile projects, all of which they would be delighted to support.

PetSavers are thrilled to receive support from the Debs Foundation and looking forward to receiving the results from the 2018 Clinical Research Projects.
