Congress cancelled but not forgotten

Following the disappointing cancellation of our much-loved Congress, staff, volunteers, partners and friends are working hard to provide resources to the industry in its absence. Please hear what BSAVA CEO Amanda Stranack has to say, followed by some of the resources we’re looking to provide.
‘Today should have been the first day of Congress. We’re disappointed that we can’t be in Birmingham to see you all to enjoy what – we have no doubt – would have been a really great event.
It’s been a strange few weeks for all of us, as COVID-19 has disrupted and altered almost every facet of daily life. We know that, for some of you, Congress and CPD is probably the last thing on your mind at the moment. But we also understand that, for others, a BSAVA webinar or podcast could offer a welcome break from binge-watching Netflix or cleaning the vacuum filter.
We wanted to let you know that we’re thinking of you this week, and to remind you that, whilst Congress isn’t happening, we’ve got a lot of fantastic resources available – and there is lots more coming soon – to help get you through this period.
While we don’t know how long things will be like they are, we do know that we will continue to work hard to provide first-class CPD to the profession. We will make sure to keep you up to date with what we can do to help you during this time.
We can’t wait for Congress 2021 in Manchester, and while it currently seems like a long way away, we’re sure it’ll come round in no time. We’re already working away to make this the best Congress there ever has been, and we’re excited for when we can share this with you.
