CMA webinar on CMA’s Provisional Decision

The Competitions & Marketing Authority (CMA) has published (15th Oct 2025) its Provisional Decision Report (PDR) on its market investigation (MI) into the provision of veterinary services for household pets.
The CMA will be hosting a webinar to help veterinary professionals understand the CMA’s provisional decision on its Investigation on Wednesday 29th October, 1:00pm – 2.00pm.
The webinar will cover:
- The proposed remedies package, focusing on the changes that practice owners or managers, and veterinary professionals, may need to make if the CMA’s provisional remedies go ahead.
- Answering your questions – use the registration form below to submit them to the CMA in advance of the webinar.
- Answering questions put to CMA by the Main Parties, including BSAVA, on behalf of veterinary professionals.
- What will happen next in the CMA’s investigation and how you can share your views with the CMA.
The webinar is intended for all interested veterinary professionals.
Register for the webinar here. Registration will close at 11am on Wednesday 29th October 2025. You can submit any questions prior to the webinar via the registration form by 10am on Monday 27th October 2025.
If you are unable to join the webinar on Wednesday 29th October, CMA will be publishing the recording of the webinar which will be accessible after the event.
