The BSAVA supports those in the veterinary profession who are in need through a variety of initiatives, we've collated the following numbers which we hope will prove helpful in difficult times. Other handy links are also featured.

Vetlife is a registered charity which supports everyone in the veterinary community. It is completely independent of any other veterinary organisations and all support is free, independent and confidential.

Vetlife Helpline Emotional support from a friendly listening service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Referrals for health and financial support.

Vetlife Health Support Assessment and care management from a team of mental health care professionals.

Vetlife Financial Support Professional debt and benefits advice and financial assistance for those who qualify. 

Veterinary Surgeons Health Support Programme

Established by the veterinary profession in 1999 to help combat problems of alcohol, drugs, eating disorders and other addictive and mental health issues.
