Six weeks ago the result of the EU referendum came with a raft of uncertainty and a great many questions. Since that time a great deal has happened, yet we still know very little about what life after Brexit will look like and how this may impact on the veterinary profession.
We are starting to get some idea of who the people involved in the discussions and negotiations will be and hopefully in time this will start to give us some idea of what the future holds.
BSAVA has been working on identifying the issues on behalf of its members, and is seeking ways in which we can have a significant influence on the matters that effect our profession; these include regulation, employment, legislation, science and surveillance.
