This course meets the RCVS practice standards veterinary hospital dispensing course requirements and is ideal for the PSS medicines award CPD requirement. It is also AMTRA accredited and carries 43 AMTRA CPD points.
The BSAVA dispensing course help veterinary practices manage their dispensaries with up-to-date information on medicine regulations. It will cover key aspects of dispensing including an overview and update on legislation, using the cascade and the storing and disposal of medicines There will also be sessions covering controlled drugs, dispensing mishaps and what to expect from an inspection.
This course is suitable for vets, vet nurses and other practice staff who deal with the dispensing of medicines and the pharmacy.
The program will be delivered in a timetable of webinars through the day with a live Q&A session at the end of the day. Attendance for the day is compulsary and a registration will be taken at the Q&A session.
Attendees will also have access to supporting material including course notes, a discussion forum and recording of the webinars for two weeks after the course.

To qualify for an applicable refund, cancellations must emailed to email@example.com or requested by telephone on 01452 726700. With over 30 days’ notice we will refund 70% of the course fee. With between 15-30 days’ notice we will refund 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations with notice of 14 days or less, however if we are able to resell your place on the course we will provide a full refund.
BSAVA reserves the right to alter the programme or the speaker should this become necessary due to unavoidable circumstances. BSAVA reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances. Registrants should note that the BSAVA member's rate applies only when the person attending the course is a member of the Association. To qualify for the reduced member's rate for courses, non-members must join BSAVA prior to the course.
