From AKI to CKD - a users’ guide to managing kidney disease in cats and dogs
Doubletree by Hilton, Southampton, Bracken Place, Chilworth Southampton Hampshire, SO16 3RB
This one-day course will discuss the latest thinking in the diagnosis and management of common and not so common kidney problems in both dogs and cats. Aimed at first opinion practitioners, with an emphasis on evidence-based medicine, the day will inform everyone about options available in both first opinion practice and referral centres.
Not sure how to interpret SDMA, when a cat needs a SUB, which patients need a renal diet or just what rate of IVFT that dog with AKI needs?
The lectures in this course will cover the early diagnosis and management of chronic kidney disease, causes and best treatment options for acute kidney injury, medical management of stone disease and how best to manage cats with ureteral obstruction pre- and post-SUB placement.
Delegates will leave with confidence in the diagnosis and management of kidney disease in dogs and cats.
Attend this course and you will be entered into a draw with a chance to win a BSAVA manual of your choice! The winner will be drawn from the attendees at the end of the day.
