Update on Feline Infectious Diseases

Précis of course:
This course will enable veterinary surgeons in practice to feel more confident in diagnosing and managing feline infectious diseases. Some important diseases will be covered such as cat ‘flu, FIP, TB and retroviruses and new information on diagnosis and treatment of these disorders will be presented. Imported diseases in dogs will also be covered, so that vets know how to diagnose and prevent important vector-borne diseases such as babesiosis and leishmaniosis.
This course will cover:
• FIP – updates on diagnosis particularly with recent advances in molecular diagnostics
• FeLV and FIV infections with a focus on testing methods
• Other feline infectious diseases such as upper respiratory tract disease, haemoplasmosis and TB
• Canine imported diseases
Cat ‘flu is commonly encountered in feline practice. Management of cases including the importance of supportive care such as nebulisation, shown here, will be covered on this course.

With between 15-30 days’ notice we will refund 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations with notice of 14 days or less, however if we are able to resell your place on the course we will provide a full refund.
