Anaesthesia for complicated conditions
The Unicorn Inn, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff South Glamorgan, CF3 6YA
The talk will provide an update on the management of anaesthesia for some of the more complex cases that the practitioner may encounter, including post trauma, renal and liver disease etc. Often it is the approach and assessment before anaesthesia that will improve the outcome for a particular patient.
Case based studies will be used to illustrate the approach and to assess the possible complications that may be encountered. The techniques and drugs used will be tailored to those readily available in first opinion practice.
Following this course, delegates will be able to assess challenging, non routine cases before general anaesthesia and to improve individual patient care when under anaesthesia.
