On Sunday 19th April we’ll be taking on a scenic circular walk starting from Woodrow House, in Gloucester joining a beautiful stretch of the Cotswold Way along the route for this years’ Chair’s Challenge. It’s a great chance to enjoy the countryside, get some fresh air, and raise money for an amazing cause. Please bring well behaved dogs.
🚶 Distance: Approximately 13 miles (Intermediate level). There is a six mile alternative available called the Bruce Trail. The full walk joins the Bruce Trail at point 6 on this map.
⏰ Start time: arrive at 9.45 to start at 10.00am.
🥪 Bring: A picnic for the walk
☕ Bonus: Afternoon refreshments provided back at the finishing line, Woodrow House! (We kindly ask that muddy dogs relax in their cars for this part) The day will finish at approximately 4pm.
Sponsorship is very welcome – raise a minimum of £50 if you can and help make a real difference for pets in need. Here is the link to our Just Giving Page for the event – click on START FUNDRAISING to set up your own page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/petsaverscotswoldswalk.
Every contribution helps us go further and make a bigger impact. This marks Rosie Godfrey’s final Chair’s Challenge. We hope you’ll join us in making it a memorable one in appreciation of her four years of service as Chair of the PetSavers Management Committee.
Email petsaversadmin@bsava.com if you would like to attend by 5th April so we can order the refreshments.
