How much of your donation comes to BSAVA PetSavers?

In accordance with the Fundraising Code, you have the right to know exactly what happens to your donations, so we are transparent about our fees.

The only fee deducted from your donation is the STRIPE payment processing fee. This covers the cost of processing your online transaction and keeping it secure. It is currently set at a little over 2% for a standard credit card.

For example, if you donate £10 and choose to add Gift Aid, BSAVA PetSavers will get:

Your donation                               +£10.00

Payment processing fee ~0.2%    -£0.02

Gift Aid                                           +£2.50

Total donation                                £12.48

You can help cover this processing fee by ticking the box on the donation page. In this scenario BSAVA PetSavers would receive £12.50 from a £10 donation with Gift Aid.

The fees for international and premium credit cards may be more than this.
