Petsavers is run by a team of enthusiastic, dedicated vets who give up their services for free. There are two different committees, the Petsavers Management Committee and the Petsavers Grants Awarding Committee.
As Petsavers is a division of the BSAVA, they are backed up by the resources of the BSAVA. This includes ongoing financial and personnel support in the day to day running of Petsavers.

Management Committee
The Management Committee is responsible for the long term development of Petsavers and its fundraising strategy. The majority of the vets are in general practice and are well aware of the many urgent problems that affect their patients.
The Chairman reports to the officers of the BSAVA three times a year.

Grant Awarding Committee
The Grant Awarding Committee allocate the funds to those clinical studies and training programmes that will best improve our knowledge of small animal medicine and surgery.
