BSAVA ANNUAL CONGRESS, 8 – 11 April 2010, ICC/NIA, Birmingham

The deadline for applying to become a Congress steward has passed, although you can still apply to be on the waiting list for Congress 2010. If you would like to be part of the world's largest small animal veterinary Congress, then apply to become a steward at Congress 2010 today. If you are available from 1.30pm on Tuesday 6 April 2010 until 5.00pm on Sunday 11 April 2010 inclusive and wish to be a steward, complete the Steward Application Form and send to:

Catherine Beck, Congress Co-ordinator (Exhibition), BSAVA, Woodrow House, 1 Telford Way, Waterwells Business Park, Quedgeley, Gloucester GL2 2AB. Email exhibition@bsava.com, telephone +44 (0) 1452 726704, fax +44 (0) 1452 726701.

Being a Steward at BSAVA Congress is as much fun as it is hard work and every year we receive many more applications than there are places.

What's in it for you?

  • Free accommodation (shared twin bedded room)
  • A daily meal allowance
  • Provision for 2nd class/economy travel (by coach, train, and air only)
  • T-Shirts provided
  • £206 Wages (subject to tax & NI deductions)

Stewarding is a great networking opportunity and allows you to experience the world's largest small animal veterinary Congress. However, the role is hard work and all Stewards are acting representatives of BSAVA so need to be responsible and reliable.  To get a firsthand account of what the role involves we recommend you speak to any final year student at your University who have been a Steward at previous Congresses and we are sure you'll get a true account of what is involved in the role.
