As one of Britain’s largest organisations for veterinary surgeons, the BSAVA plays a key role in training, developing and supporting the veterinary profession. We exist to promote excellence in small animal practice through education and science. With around 6000 members, the Association supports not only vets in practice but also specialists and academics. Members of the BSAVA know that they are part of a community of like-minded professionals. The BSAVA is run for vets, by vets, and many of the members go on to volunteer on our Committees – some eventually end up on the Board, helping to run a national Association with great influence.

As a BSAVA member you will be part of something a whole lot bigger. With members ranging throughout the veterinary spectrum, you are a cog within a community of qualified vets who all come together to exchange ideas and experience. As a member of the BSAVA we are your voice for professional representation and play a key role in developing and representing the profession on scientific and political issues at a national and international level.
