The 2009 award went to Nicola Bromley and will allow her to travel to New England in the Autumn to spend time at TUFTS University to gain knowledge and skills from their well respected critical care and emergency medicine teams.

Nicola achieved her Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2006. Since then she has become especially interested in emergency medicine and critical care, and her current skills base means that she works in such areas as gastroenterology, endocrinology, urology and oncology. This award will enable Nicola to attend the Medicine Updates programme.
