Companion Animals – Pedigree Dogs – Saving the Pedigree Dog

In August 2008, a BBC One documentary entitled, “Pedigree Dogs Exposed”, investigated some of the serious health and welfare issues experienced by many pedigree dogs as a result of the way they are bred. The RSPCA has vast amounts of information on the documentary, including a RSPCA commissioned independent scientific report on pedigree dog breeding in the UK, advice and expert contributions.

More information is available by visiting the RSPCA website.
