Imported dogs: Survey
21 April 2023
If you currently work as a small animal veterinary surgeon in the UK and encounter imported dogs or puppies in your practice, your experience and insight could prove valuable in helping to inform policy-making at national level.
Liverpool vet school and Defra would welcome vets in practice completing their joint survey on The health and welfare issues of imported dogs presenting to UK veterinary surgeons. The survey is anonymous, can be completed online and should take no more than 15- 20 minutes of your time.
Results will be fed back to DEFRA and disseminated to the veterinary profession to inform policy and help improve understanding of issues and care around imported dogs.
