Bursary available for EVM course

The Centre for Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine at Nottingham has created a programme to help the profession understand how EVM can be achieved in practice, and there is a bursary available which covers the full cost of registration.
The programme will be delivered through real-time online tutorials, facilitated distance learning, and in-person workshops at Nottingham Vet School, with guidance, resources and support provided throughout.
The three components of the course (to be completed over 3 – 4 months) are:
1. What is evidence-based veterinary medicine and why is it important?
2. How do I find and appraise the evidence?
3. How do I apply the evidence-based veterinary medicine approach to my practice?
Enrolment date 1: 27 June 2016
Enrolment date 2: 1 November 2016
Enrolment date 3: 2 January 2017
The 35 hours of CPD costs &£995.00, though the CEVM bursary for this course covers the full registration costs for an individual veterinary surgeon to join either of the first two course start dates.
