Angela goes the distance for PetSavers

29 April 2016

Angela Lipson’s months of training paid off after she completed her first London Marathon in April and raised £1,235 in aid of PetSavers. Angela completed the 26.2 mile course in a speedy 3 hours 56 minutes and was delighted with her time.

Reflecting on her achievement she said: “What an experience! It was tough and emotional, but an incredible feeling to be part of an event on that scale with overwhelming support from the spectators.&”

Not one to miss an opportunity to promote PetSavers, when things got a bit hot she found time to give her PetSavers T-shirt to a dog owner in the crowd.

Angela’s outstanding performance raised £1,235 for PetSavers which will help fund studies to improve the health of pets.

If you are inspired by Angela’s story and would like to enter a charity race for PetSavers, please email petsaversadmin@bsava.com. PetSavers will support you all the way.
