Would you be interested in visiting the House of Lords and having your voice heard? Due to the apparent high level of drop-out from the veterinary profession, particularly in veterinary surgeons after a few years in practice, Professor the Lord Trees is inviting certain members of the profession to share their experiences.
The meeting, on Wednesday 14th September 2016
, is being held under the Vet Futures umbrella, in collaboration with the BVA and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
The purpose of the meeting is to seek representative views from those who graduated as veterinary surgeons four to six years ago, including those currently working in clinical practice, those who have left clinical practice and also those who have left the profession.
Professor the Lord Trees is keen to identify the reasons why vets leave the profession and to seek improvements in career satisfaction amongst veterinary graduates. This is set to complement the work being undertaken as part of the Vet Futures project.
