In this installment of the Regions Now lectures, Owen Davies will discuss the clinical effects, diagnosis, treatment and recent advances relating to this condition.
Before the live event
Delegates will be issued with a link to a closed group on the BSAVA Regional website, with access granted to a series of short webinars and associated reading. Access to this will be from 12th May. The pre-recorded sessions will cover lymphoma, mast cell tumours and chemotherapy in-house.Learning Objectives of the Pre-recorded and live session:• To understand and choose appropriate tests to confirm the diagnosis of canine and feline lymphoma• Understand different means and benefits of sub typing lymphoma• Understand the value of staging lymphoma and have a working knowledge of how best to do this.• Understand prognostic factors for lymphoma in cats and dogs• To choose and administer appropriate treatments for canine and feline lymphoma• To understand prognostic factors for canine mast cell tumours• To navigate the treatments available for canine mast cell tumours with confidence• To have a good working knowledge of medical and surgical treatments for mast cell tumours and be able to use these appropriately
The live session will take place on 19th May. Join us in the waiting room at 7.30pm, for a prompt 7.45pm start. This session will last 1.5 hours with opportunities for questions and discussion with the speaker. This live session will feature case based material on treating lymphoma and mast cell tumours.
After the event
Delegates will have access to the online content and discussion forum, and there will be opportunity for community peer to peer, and volunteer discussion, which is an important part of our Regional CPD.
