Companion is inviting members to send in their soft tissue surgery questions to be answered by expert Catherine Sturgeon. Selected questions will be featured in the next ‘Ask the expert’ feature in the October issue of Companion magazine.  As an added incentive, each member who submits a question will be entered into a free prize draw to win a copy of the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Abdominal Surgery, second edition.

FECAVA Travel Scholarship deadline extended

The deadline to apply for the FECAVA Travel Scholarship has been extended to 31st May 2017. The FECAVA Travel Scholarship is an initiative that enables groups of small animal veterinary surgeons from different parts of Europe, to visit each other for a few days and observe each other’s practice experience. The scholarship, totalling €2,000 per year, is made possible through the support of LABOKLIN, who partner FECAVA on this project.
