The British Small Animal Veterinary Association, along with other interested parties, is taking part in the annual public consultation on Veterinary Medicines Regulations.

The Veterinary Medicines Regulations (VMR) 2009 came into force on 1 October 2009 and are subject to annual review. This gives the opportunity to review and amend any of the provisions that need to be changed and to make any necessary inflationary increase to the fees. The VMR 2010 will come into force on 1 December 2010 and will replace the current Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2009 SI No 2009/2297.
