The main species discussed will be rabbits, ferrets and rodents with mention of more unusual species such as African pygmy hedgehogs.
There will be an initial up-to-date review of topics such as handling, physical examination, anatomy, husbandry and hospitalisation.
The points raised in these discussions will be addressed in practical sessions demonstrating useful techniques in commonly seen species e.g. full physical assessments.
